It should not be a surprise that there are a lot of unusual things to do in Brighton. For instance, a dance party where you run and dance through the streets of our beloved city, and create a little party. Perfectly normal, right?! The city is without a doubt one of the most unique, quirky and liberal places in the UK. For that reason, ‘London by the Sea’, as Brighton often is referred to, is the home of many creative minds and those who like to think and act a little bit outside the box.
It is the eclectic mix of alternative lifestyles and people that has made this city what it is today. Therefore, a visit is an absolute must! Hen activities in Brighton are on the list of many brides-to-be. But it is equally appreciated by families and day-trippers, interested in vintage shopping, good food and the beach. With only one hour from London Victoria by train, Brighton is the perfect place for a city break.
Our running and dancing tour is very unique and the only one of its kind in Brighton. Not only does it combine a street dance party with some fitness, but you also get some Brighton history along the way. In short, you are in for a real treat! First, you start with a brief introduction and warm-up. Second, your guide takes you through the small alleyways and streets of the Lanes and North Laine and along some of Brighton’s landmarks. For instance, the Brighton Pier, the Royal Pavilion and the Brighton Dome to name a few popular ones.
Don’t be fooled by the word ‘running’. We only jog between places and adjust the pace to the group. Thus, everyone is welcome, as we cater for all fitness levels and no experience is needed. There is a lot of dancing involved though! However, we make regular stops at Brighton must-sees or just randomly, when we feel like creating a little dance party. These breaks allow your guide to tell you some stories, and for you to take a rest, take some photos, dance or have a sip of water. You can dance freestyle or follow your guide’s moves. Last but not least, you finish with a cool-down.
The music is varied and ranges from Golden Oldies to modern pop and anything in between. We also have special themes, for example, Eurovision or Disco. Also, it is possible to use your playlist if you send it to us well in advance. Please get in touch for more info.
This tour is never the same, and we might as well get ourselves to Hove or Kemptown, Who knows?! We just go with the flow. For that reason, we also ask you to bring your best fancy dress. Whether you wear a pink wig, a golden shirt and leopard pants with sneakers underneath, come as the funniest and craziest version of yourself. Without a doubt, it contributes to the fun and atmosphere!
This cool and unusual activity in Brighton gives you without a doubt some attention from passers-by. For instance, they might join for a little dance or perhaps take a photo.
