Terms & Conditions of contacting Tours of Brighton
Please read carefully before contacting us or booking a tour.
These Terms & Conditions are applicable to all Tour of Brighton?s tours, including those managed by any third party. Reservations with Tours of Brighton, together with its affiliates are made and accepted only on the following Terms & Conditions without modification. The terms ?you,? ?your? and ?guest? refer to all persons who book a tour or weekend retreat with Tours of Brighton. If there are any specific terms to your reservation, Tours of Brighton will provide these to you in a separate written confirmation. Along with any specific disclosures made available on the Tours of Brighton website, any documentation separately provided to you is part of these Terms and Conditions.
Terms of Booking
Bookings will only be secured upon receipt of payment in full. No booking can be guaranteed until then.
Upon receipt of your completed booking and payment you will be sent a booking confirmation by email. This email is also your tour ticket. To participate on the tour, you can bring a printed ticket or show your ticket on your phone upon arrival.
Please check the details on the confirmation carefully. If any of the details are incorrect or have changed from the time the reservation was made, then you must inform us within 24 hours. No reservations are valid until confirmed in writing (electronic or otherwise).
Payment conditions

Rates
Rates are in GBP (Great British Pound). All rates are subject to change without notice. Prices are quoted to the guest on the day that payment is taken and booking is confirmed. Any change in price following a booking, including a reduction in price will not be subject to any refund by Tours of Brighton for the difference in price.
Vouchers
Vouchers can be used as a way of payment. Each voucher is valid for one tour only and cannot be re-used. When the tour has been confirmed for a particular voucher, no alterations can be made. Tours of Brighton accepts no liability for vouchers that are lost or stolen.
Special Offers/Promotional Activity
Special offers/promotions tour inclusions may vary. Tours of Brighton reserve the right to make changes at any time.
From time to time Tours of Brighton will offer tours at a promotional rate. These promotions / reduced rates cannot be added to a pre-existing booking.
Payment Protection Insurance
Tours of Brighton recommends that you protect your investment and yourself by obtaining adequate insurance for such items as trip cancellation/interruption, medical assistance and care and loss or damage of private property during a tour or weekend retreat. Tours of Brighton accepts no responsibility for these items.
Special dietary/allergy requirements on our food tours
Tours of Brighton offers a variety of food and drink tours including a vegetarian, vegan and standard food tour. Please inform us as soon as possible if you have any special requirements, allergies and intolerances. It is your full responsibility to inform us. Tours of Brighton cannot be held responsible if you forget or only inform us last minute. If you are not able to eat certain foods because of this Tours of Brighton will not offer a refund.
Tours of Brighton will inform any 3rd parties of special requirements, allergies and intolerances as soon as we have received this information from you. Tours of Brighton cannot be held liable if a 3rd party forgets about these special requirements, allergies and intolerances and there will be no refund.
If Tours of Brighton is required to make multiple alternations to an existing tour to suit your needs, an additional charge of 20 GBP will be charged. Alternatively you can contact us to create a private tour.
Alcohol
Alcohol can only be consumed by guests who are 18 and older.
Please inform us if you take any medication if you book a tour where alcohol is consumed. We strongly advise you to not take any alcohol in this situation and will replace this with water or juice. Tours of Brighton is not liable for the consequences if you consume alcohol whilst on medication or when you are pregnant.
Sport & health tours
Tours of Brighton offers a variety of sport and health tours including running and rancing (running + dancing) in London and Brighton and a yoga & mindfulness experience. Although these tours cater for everyone and we keep a gentle pace, it is your full responsibility to make sure the you are physically fit to exercise for 1 to 1.5 hours and inform Tours of Brighton about any pre-existing medical conditions that may have an impact.
If you fail to provide Tours of Brighton with the correct information and you are not able to attend a tour as a result, you will not receive any refund.
Weekend retreat
The retreat?s activities and services are often supplied by 3rd parties who are not agents, employees or subcontractors of Tours of Brighton and as such, Tours of Brighton is not responsible or liable for their acts or omissions and cannot be held liable in the event of loss of personal property or personal injury whilst participating in any activity.
Alterations to weekend retreat bookings
A guest requiring a booking to be altered once a booking has been confirmed will be charged a fee of ?50 for a revised booking. These alterations may result in a higher price being quoted due to rate increase or price differences. If the price is higher, you, the guest, will be liable for the difference.
Treatments and Therapies offered on the weekend retreat
Tours of Brighton carefully selects their third-party service partners; however, these service partners are independently operated and not employees of Tours of Brighton. Therefore, Tours of Brighton is not responsible or liable for actions taken by these service partners or any injury that may result from the provision of these services.
The treatment menu is subject to change at any time without notice. Therapies will also vary depending on the therapist?s style of working and school of training. Your therapist may also suggest an alternative tool or therapy more appropriate for you at any time during your session or weekend retreat. Tours of Brighton cannot guarantee that a therapy will be identical or even similar to that which you have experienced with other therapists on the weekend retreat, or even outside of the weekend retreat. This is particularly important if you yourself are a trained therapist. Please go into your session with an open mind without expectation to really gain full benefits.
Late arrival
Tours of Brighton starts its tours no later than 5 minutes after the official starting time. This is respectful towards the other guests.
If you arrive late, we ask you to notify us on 07783 152 151 in order to join the tour at a later point. Tours of Brighton is not responsible to give you a refund if you miss out on certain parts of the tour (e.g. a food tasting) due to being late.
Disabilities
Some of our tours are accessible for wheelchair users. Please check our tour page to see which tours are available. We do however not have the expertise or resources to cater for people with physical disabilities that cannot take responsibility or care for themselves on all tours.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted on our tours out of respect for the tour guides and other participants. If you wish to smoke, you can stay behind and are welcome to join the group again later.
Animals
Dogs are allowed on our running tour in Brighton. Please inform us at the time of booking if you want to bring your dog so we can check with the other participants if they are ok with this and if there is no one with allergies.
Lost Property
Tours of Brighton is not be responsible for any items left behind by a guest. Any items that are found by 3rd parties and that are not claimed or collected within 30 days will be donated to local charity. Guests may also arrange for a courier collection on a set day as agreed by Tours of Brighton. We can also organise to arrange postage and package of items at a charge of 15 GBP for the time this takes plus royal mail postage and also any packaging costs.
Website information
The information on our website is as accurately as possible. However, facilities and inclusions may be altered or withdrawn by 3rd parties, for reasons outside Tour of Brighton?s control, in which case Tours of Brighton cannot accept responsibility for inconvenience incurred. Tours of Brighton makes every effort to ensure that the website details are correct updated on a regular basis. Mistakes may occur from time to time and confirmation should be requested prior to confirming a booking.

Privacy and personal information
No personal information given to Tours of Brighton will be passed on or sold to a third party. Your booking may be shared with appropriate members of the Tours of Brighton team.
Data Protection
All electronic data transferred to guests or handed out during a tour remains the property of Tours of Brighton and may not be replicated, in part or whole, without prior permission from Tours of Brighton. Electronic data may not be preserved and retained by Tours of Brighton indefinitely.
Tours of Brighton complies with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) EU 2016/679 that went into effect on 25 May 2018. This privacy policy sets out how Tours of Brighton uses and protects any information that you give Tours of Brighton when you use this website and the services associated.
All the information we collect and hold about you will be stored in computer and other filing systems. We collect and keep information about you to enable us to administer our services to you, to conduct market research and provide you with information about our products and services. Tours of Brighton is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website and the services associated, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Cancellation conditions
We recommend insurance for all guests. This should be purchased independently as it is not included in the tour cost.
Bookings for 5 people or less:
Cancellations need to be made 24 hours before the tour start. If the the cancellation is received less than 24 hours before the tour start we charge 100% of the price.
For some tours, such as the food tours and weekend retreat, where Tours of Brighton has to pre-pay any tour related costs, fees will be deducted from the refund, even if the booking was cancelled 24 hours prior to the start.?
If there is a late arrival of 15 minutes or more without prior notification, Tours of Brighton charges 100% of the fee.
Once a tour is booked, the tour will go ahead in any weather as long as it is safe. If you see bad weather forecast, you retain the right to cancel the booking as outlined above or change to an alternative date with at least 48 hours notice.?
Bookings for 6 people or more:
Cancellations need to be made 96 hours (4 days) before the tour start. If the the cancellation is received less than 96 hours (4 days) before the tour start we charge 100% of the price.
For some tours, such as the food tours and weekend retreat, where Tours of Brighton has to pre-pay any tour related costs, fees will be deducted from the refund where applicable, even if the booking was cancelled 96 hours prior to the start.?
If there is a late arrival of 15 minutes or more without prior notification, Tours of Brighton charges 100% of the fee.
Tours of Brighton is not responsible for fees that are charged by external parties (e.g. your bank) when given a refund.
Once a tour is booked, the tour will go ahead in any weather as long as it is safe. If you see bad weather forecast, you retain the right to cancel the booking as outlined above or change to an alternative date with at least 48 hours notice.?
Cancellations by Tours of Brighton
Should a circumstance arise and Tours of Brighton has to cancel your tour for any reason, you will be informed as soon as is reasonably possible. In these circumstances, Tours of Brighton will, if we are able to do so, offer you an alternative at no extra cost.
If you do not wish to take the alternative option, you can receive a full refund of any money you have paid to Tours of Brighton.
Force Majeure
Tours of Brighton shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment of any nature or kind whatsoever, to you or your traveling companions or group members resulting from events beyond our or a supplier?s control including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lockouts or other labor disputes or disruptions, wars, blockades, insurrections, riots, earthquakes, flight and ferry cancellations or interruptions, weather conditions, floods, or acts or restraints imposed by government authorities. It is strongly recommended that you have an insurance that provides coverage for weather and/or other related disrupting factors.

I understand that some tours require me to inform Tours of Brighton of any special requirements, allergies and intolerances. I also understand that it is my responsibility to let Tours of Brighton know if I take any medication or have pre-existing medical conditions.
I accept full liability for my decision to participate in a tour or weekend retreat and I will not claim or demand any responsibility from Tours of Brighton or any 3rd party should I experience any adverse reaction, loss or damage to myself or my property associated to a tour or weekend retreat.?
I freely and knowingly assume the risks inherent in participation in fitness and retreat related sessions and classes.
I hereby waive any right, claim, or cause of action against Tours of Brighton, Sophie Van de Moortel, any of our guides and 3rd parties and release them from any liability for any injury, cost, damage, expense or claim, which I or anyone on my behalf might have as a direct or indirect result of my participation. As with any activity there is a risk of injury associated with yoga, running and fitness training. The decision to perform any exercise and undertake any treatments during the weekend retreat remains the individuals. The participant agrees to take on full responsibility for their actions within the retreat and class and shall work within their own limits. If guests have any injuries or health concerns before or during a tour or retreat it is their responsibility to notify Tours of Brighton and our guides, so that they are aware of your limits.
I accept full responsibility for my own participation in the tour and am voluntarily choosing to participate in the treatments I have chosen for the weekend retreat and I feel sufficiently informed to make this choice.
Tours of Brighton has a non-refund policy to ensure that you are ready, committed and dedicated to the tour you have chosen.
